About Us
What differs the Company of Mountain Guides from other tour operators in Ecuador is the fact that ten highly qualified mountain guides lead our company and tours. Company of Mountain Guides was founded by passionate climbers. Since 1990 we have shared our experience and enthusiasm with our clients, who come from all over the world to explore together with us our beautiful country. If you aim to climb the 5000-meter volcanoes like Cayambe, Cotopaxi and Chimborazo, or hope to enjoy the unique landscape while trekking in the highlands of Ecuador, we provide you with a professional service and the highest level of security. In addition, we offer trips to the lively and colorful indigenous markets, the amazing Amazonian jungle or the delightful Galapagos Islands. We are always willing to adapt to your wishes and combine trips. As mentioned above we are all extremely qualified climbers and experienced tourist guides. We are all members of the ASEGUIM (Ecuadorian Association of Mountain Guides), and have been trained with the Mountain Police in Chamonix (French Alps) and in the National Ski and Mountain School ENSA, which is considered to be the best guide school in the world. During the last few years, the guides climbed mountains all over the world including Everest and K2 in the Himalayas, the Alps and Dolomites in Europe, and Aconcagua in South America. Apart from all the mountains in Ecuador, we guided extensively in Bolivia, Peru and Argentina. We would be glad to welcome you soon. .
